Over my 7.5 years with the Australian Equestrian Team, I was responsible for all aspects of media and communications, working to elevate the team's profile and showcase the exceptional talent within Australia's high-performance program. I developed a comprehensive communications and content strategy that seamlessly integrated media relations, PR, and content creation to ensure our athletes and their achievements were consistently in the spotlight.

A key part of my role was managing all social media channels, where I grew the team’s presence to over 100k followers and launched the dedicated #AusEquestrianTeam channels, a strategic move that fostered deeper fan engagement and visibility. On a daily basis I worked closely with the EA High-Performance Director and the EA Board of Directors, ensuring a collaborative approach to media planning and execution, especially through the team’s most significant moments, including Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024, two FEI World Championships and the 2022 Youth Olympic Games.

By blending a passion for the sport with a strategic approach to communication, I was able to ensure the Australian Equestrian Team's continued success in the media and elevate their profile positively on the world stage.
